New Year ~ New Projects!

Happy New Year friends!  Glad to be popping in here on my blog...I have had a super busy and fun Holiday season!  I have some fun new projects to share with ya'll.  Yesterday, my dad brought me some fun pieces from my grandmother's house in Alabama...She was going through some old stuff and trying to get rid of some of the things she doesn't need.  I plan on transforming some of the furniture & artwork to make it work in our home.  This little stool is my first project, and I love how it turned out!  Right now I have it sitting under our entry way table...but it could easily work in a nursery some day...it's pretty versatile.  The best part was that I had all the materials already, so this project was free!  Hope you like it!

I took off the original fabric, then covered the existing foam in a layer of quilt batting.  Then I stapled my new chevron fabric to the seat.  I used a glossy white (my fav!) spray paint for the frame, and it was done...so simple!

I used the same fabric that I used on my kitchen pin board...I love it!

Have a wonderful Monday!

P.S.

Will ya'll be tuning in to The Bachelor tonight?!?  I sure will!
