Road Trip Survival Kit

Since we are off on our road trip to the beach today, I thought it would be fun to share my little "Road Trip Survival Kit" that I put together.  I filled this adorable chevron box with some of my favorite things, along with my hubby's :)

My Survival Kit includes...

sugar free redbull
 water
 my favorite candy
hubby's favorite candy
my favorite magazines
...and some snacks

I bought two of these at Target yesterday.  I thought it would be easy to carry everything, and cute too :)

They are black and hot pink...and only $2.50 each.  Dollar Spot...Whoop!

I went to two different Targets yesterday to try to find Emily Giffin's new book, Where We Belong, and both were sold out!  So, I'll have to pick this up along the way.  If you haven't read her books, you should!  I love every single one of them!

Monday I'll be posting some of our favorite Instagram pictures of our road trip so far!

Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Love Emily Giffin - Jake downloaded it for my Nook I just need to actually load it. Good luck on the roadtrip! I would share with you my survival kit, but it would be a dissertation and isn't quite as exciting since I include fun things like pull-ups, travel potties, and sippy cups ;-)

  10. Survival Things Our Great-Grandfathers Built Or Did Around The House

People really should avert their gaze from the modern survival thinking for just a bit and also look at how folks 150 years ago did it.

These guys were the last generation to practice basic things-for a living-that we call survival skills now.
