{DIY} Tufted Coffee Table

Hey everyone!  I hope ya'll had a great Father's Day yesterday.  We enjoyed our weekend, and I am back with my latest project.  I finished our coffee table late Saturday night and am so pleased with how it turned out.  Our dog Finnley chewed the corners of our table last Fall, and I waited until we were done with that phase of her life before I attempted to fix it.  My first attempt was to buy a new piece of wood for the top and stain it, paint the frame a brass color, and add nailhead trim.  Although this sounded really pretty in my head, I just wasn't happy with the results.  So, a few weeks later, with the help of my friend Bethany and an amazing tutorial over at Schue Love, I attempted to make over my table one last time...and I am SO glad I did!

What do you think???

I decided to go with a diamond pattern and used a light oatmeal colored linen fabric.  It is the perfect mix of comfort and glamour, and I love it!

Here you can see the many lives of our poor coffee table.  But I am happy to say, that I plan on keeping the tufted look.  It definitely fits the style of the room so much better.

Thanks for stoping by!  I hope you like my little weekend project!  Have any of you attempted tufting before??  Once I got the hang of it, it really wasn't that bad, and it turned out much better than I thought it would.

Hope ya'll have a good Monday!
