Barbara Barry Find & Fun With the Phillips!

I am SO excited to share with you the home of some of our dearest friends.  We met Kyle and Bethany through our church last year, and they have quickly become one of our favorite couples in Dallas :)  They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and we love them dearly.  In December they bought their first home, and have been decorating, painting, and doing all things house related over these last few months.  I have loved hearing all of their stories about home ownership!  It has really prepared my hubby and I for our big move next month!  Bethany's style is warm, classy, yet comfortable, and I have loved how she has started to decorate their home.  She will tell you that it is a work in progress, but I think she has done a fabulous job so far!  I wanted to show you guys a few of the rooms she has been working on today, as well as her AWESOME duvet cover in their master bedroom!  

This is their living room...I love how light and bright everything is!  They painted this room along with the fire place.  The contrast really makes the fireplace stand out as the focal point in this room.  

I love her little gallery wall behind the couch.  Love the framed chalkboard!

Here is a peak into their master bedroom.  When I saw her duvet cover, I texted her immediately to find out where she got it!  Turns out it is the same Barbara Barry Poetical fabric I have been drooling over lately. You can find it here from Bed, Bath & Beyond!  The queen is currently out of stock, but they should get more in soon...I am thinking that this would go great in our guest room!

Isn't the light fixture and medallion great?!?  It definitely gives the room a romantic and glamourous feel! Bethany also took an old dresser and nightstand from her grandmother and gave it new life!  You can read about her painting adventures on her blog!
